[Eyes of the Thirteen, Meraud's Shrine]
Carved alexandrite-dusted wolf prints continue their trek over a black onyx platform, making their way towards a polished granite altar set at the darkened far end. On either side of the dome are black steel braziers that are lit with eerie purple flames, setting a surreal ambience in the room. The lighting caresses its way across the four intricate carvings lined on either side of the tracks set into the platform. You also see a black marble altar inlaid with silver lightning bolts, a polished black granite archway and a black lacquered altar with hints of cinnabar and gold leaf.

Vythlak roughly says, "Hello. For those who do not know me, I am Vythlak, Cleric of Phelim."

Vythlak coughs.

Vythlak says, "As I have said at the opening of all of my sermons, today is a good day."

Vythlak loudly says, "For it is another day that we are protected by the embrace of the Immortals. It is also a good day because, yet again, many brave champions are gathered to do their duty for the Gods."

Vythlak adjusts his lambswool stole into place.

Vythlak chants in a baritone voice:

"Mighty Firulf!
Wise Horned Owl!
God of the Quest for Knowledge!"

Vythlak recites:

"It is in times like these with the shadows of wings upon our minds,
A mighty battle raging in the heavens which can be seen,
During both night and day..."

Vythlak recites:

"Phelim, may you guide our dreams,
And set your workings in the stars."

Vythlak recites:

"We seek your knowledge, mighty Firulf!
For perhaps your mighty staff
Agani Tayeua
the Tree of Magic.
Can be used in our aid."

Vythlak recites:

"Long ago though its loaning was abused,
Now its power is needed by both mortals and gods alike,
To stave off a deadly threat."

Vythlak inhales a great swallow of air.

Vythlak slowly empties his lungs.

Vythlak chants in a baritone voice:

"Mighty Firulf!
Wise Horned Owl!
God of the Quest for Knowledge!"

Vythlak chants in a baritone voice:

"We seek knowledge of how we can best aid
You and your kin.
How can we best serve our world and its people?"

Vythlak chants a quiet mantra to himself a few times.

Vythlak confidently says, "May Firulf bless our quest for knowledge and understanding."

(Vythlak steps back and nods his head.)

Vythlak adjusts his lambswool stole into place.
