I derived these by creating masterfully-crafted versions of each tool using the common material that had the best durability (low carbon steel) and speed related stat (high carbon steel for hardness, pewter for thermal resistance). I then compared them to other tools of the same type. When I've had some sleep, and if I remember, I'll probably post the results. -Moderator [[User:Caraamon|Caraamon Makdasi]]([[User talk:Caraamon|talk]]) 10:55, 19 January 2011 (UTC) |

I added the techniques for each item and a few missing items in the Forged Items chapter. I also reordered items to use the same ordering in the blacksmithing book. I only had the journeyman blacksmithing book, so anything in the master book is still missing. |

A quick couple notes about blacksmithing, Covellite is a great normal metal for forging tongs/thermal applications. The biggest problem is density. Straight Covellite will shatter. The magic number as of right now seems to be 3.0 density or higher. I will test this to make certain. Also, I am slowly adding updated charts to some of the Blacksmithing items, starting on forging tools. You should start to be able to click on some of them and get some basic mix apprasials. -- Dullen |
