Paize has a triangular face, slightly pointed ears, bright cat-slitted gold eyes and a narrow nose. Their lavender-streaked blue-black mane is shoulder length and thick, and is worn pulled back in a loose ponytail bound with a softened black leather hair ribbon. They have glittered blue-grey fur with silvered black marbling, a simple tailband made from silvery wirework forget-me-nots looped around a long tail and a scrawny figure. They are short for a Prydaen, and very young.

They are wearing a length of undyed wool that is loosely wound around the head and neck, a short black leather vest with criss-cross lacing up the front, a spiral triple gold raaho, a low-slung black leather loincloth that laces up the side and some supple leather footwraps.

Paize is holding a tattered sketchbook in their right hand, and at their feet rests a rumpled bundle precariously balanced atop a harp case of woven iroko.
