Appearance, when active

You see Guildleader Macfrae Gluomliever, a Halfling Bard. He has brooding grey eyes, a mass of bushy red hair held back by an intricate braid, and rosy skin. He is clean shaven. He is in good shape. He is holding a gold-edged envelope in his left hand. He is wearing a midnight blue woolen coat bearing the Bards' Guild crest in silver on one sleeve, a pair of white velvet gloves, a polished and engraved silver whiskey flask, a hammered silver hair-ring, a long-sleeved shirt of pale blue linen secured with small silver buttons, a pair of dark blue woolen trousers, a silver ring bearing the crest of the Bard Guild, a jadeite gwethdesuan and a silver flute case.

Appearance, when inactive

Macfrae is about average height for a Halfling, with a bushy mass of bright red hair and brooding grey eyes. Unlike other Halflings, Macfrae hardly ever smiles, instead remaining scowling into an ever-present cup of beer. Dressed in dark blues and wielding his flute like a sword, the red-nosed fellow looks as if he has completely surrendered to the muse of melancholy, permanently caught in a downward spiral of dreary ballads about loves lost, or loves soon to be lost.
