A form of stamping tube, the alounoun is a specific form that sprang up from Dwarven culture reminiscent of the stamp-like dancing often found at Dwarven parties and galas. The alounloun is made of a hollow tube of wood or metal that has rings of the same material attached to the entire length of the instrument. The rings are loosely attached in groups, which are marked off by a copper band. The pattern of the rings determine the type of sound the tube makes when the alounloun is struck against the ground. |

Look: | The pale wood with its reddish graining has been turned into a veritable canvas of the famed inventor Marblenough's works. Although the depictions of the inventions are rather abstract, one can recognize a steam-pressure cannon and a steam-powered balloon which floats over the image of a Kertigen statue complete with waterslides. |
