[Lawlite's Home, Temperate Fork]
Tall grasses dominate the fertile soil between a nearby stand of tall Ilithian cedar trees. A circle of stumps surrounding a freshly smoldering fire pit offers an inviting place to stay awhile and listen. The path eastward leads down to a valley of palm trees while the land to the west rises steeply to a rocky plateau.
You also see a swirling mass of chaotic darkness.
Obvious paths: east, west.

Stump:

One of the surrounding trees has been sacrificed and cut down with a smooth top, providing comfortable seating.

Pit

Blackened stones line a deeply dug hole in the ground.

[Lawlite's Home, Sea of Palms]
Enormous deep green fronds explode out in all directions from high atop the closely packed palm trees, swaying gently in response to a pleasant saltwater breeze. Rapidly cycling glimmers manage to escape the confines of the natural canopy above in hypnotic plays of light. Long, crawling vines drape from the treetops while an abundance of flowers spring forth from between lush grass below.
Obvious paths: southeast, west.

Vine:

Lengthy tangles of lush green overgrowth drape liberally from the canopy above.

Flower:

Profusions of deep crimson, pink, and butterfly orchids bloom alongside purple and red passionflowers in this lush tropical garden.

[Lawlite's Home, Secluded Beach]
A path emerging from the jungle palms leads directly to a weathered chair which is strategically placed to allow some water to flow beneath it as waves lap upon the shore. Holding assorted refreshments, a gnarled driftwood log finished with a smooth top rests beside the chair that looks out across a vast expanse of crystal blue water. A lone shelter blends naturally into the surroundings just beyond the tree line.
Obvious paths: south, northwest.

Chair:

Bleached from days in sun, this large chair appears to be a perfect spot to comfortably sit and contemplate the mysteries of life.

Log:

Deterioration rising slowly from the base of the log suggests that its usefulness as a table will end in the near future.

On log:

On the driftwood log you see a lantern, a pitcher of refreshing water and a bowl of golden passionfruit.

Lantern (on log)

Clear glass panels are secured remarkably well given the dilapidated condition of the rusted metal frame.

On the driftwood log
Item Price Done
pitcher of refreshing water 0
bowl of golden passionfruit 0

Shelter:

The shelter's makeshift construction primarily utilizes materials commonly found around the beach.
An opening, lightly curtained with braided vines, offers easy access to the inner dwelling.

[Lawlite's Home, Ascetic's Retreat]
Light white sand, possibly carried in on the feet of weary travelers looking for respite from the elements, peppers the salt-stained wooden flooring and is recycled back to the beach through myriad cracks and spaces between the aging boards. Mounds of bleached burlap are placed around a low table at the center of the room beneath a single strand of rope threaded with a multitude of freshly cut geshiloira flowers hanging from the ceiling. An open-walled design allows easy egress back to the beach to the south.
Obvious exits: south, up.

Burlap:

A pile of fabric is placed as a makeshift chair around the table, without a thought given to presentation.

Table:

Shortened legs keep the table close to the ground, making floor seating the only reasonable option.

Rope:

Draped above the table, the strand of flowers acts as a unique centerpiece.

[Lawlite's Home, Room of Blades]
One of the walls of this loft is covered with a vast assortment of precisely aligned katanas, each forged from a collection of rare and exotic materials. A series of low bookshelves runs the length of the wall beneath the blades. Light coils of smoke rise from a small stove and escape through a window that overlooks the beach. Tucked away in one corner, a large woven reed basket holding several stones of varying size and color rests beside a patterned ceramic bowl filled with water.
Obvious exits: down.

Katanas:

Gently curved blades of tyrium, glaes, icesteel, kertig, silversteel, damite, and nachosteel
extend flawlessly from hilts wrapped with imperial weave, arzumodine, faeweave, stormsilk, dergantine,
ialalhe, and nachosilk in a variety of combinations. Individual weapons are displayed reverently upon
a pair of simple locking hooks, set in perfect horizontal and vertical alignment to one another.

Stove:

A slow burning fire smolders within the stove.

Basket:

Tightly woven reeds of varying color create a marbled light and dark pattern.

In basket:

In the reed basket you see some stones.

Stones (in basket)

Muted grey, ash white, slate blue, and rust red stones fill the basket, ranging from broad and flat to narrow and thick.

Bowl:

Heavily glazed to show a viscous sheen, the bowl is decorated with a pattern of bright orange
and white fish twisting in a series of natural underwater poses.

In bowl:

In the cereamic bowl you see some water.

Get water:

You reach for some water, but it trickles out of your hands and back into the bowl.

[Lawlite's Home, Crystal Waters]
Pristine white sands beneath the water cast off a brilliant glare that is periodically interrupted by rocky shelves teeming with aquatic plants and tidal creatures. A series of errant palm fronds undulates slowly along the surface, floating lazily in uniform procession as they are swept along on the gentle current.
Obvious paths: north.

  • Note: This room is underwater, you will eventually perish from lack of air.

Plants:

Wavy strands of wine red sea grass undulate from their purchase atop the rocky shelves.

Creatures:

Crabs skitter along the rocky shelves, navigating between spiny urchins and slowly creeping starfish.

et Creatures:

As you reach toward some of the tidal creatures, they scatter at your approach.

Frond:

Blown in from their home on the beach, these remnants of the shore now chart a lazy course out to the open sea.

[Lawlite's Home, Boreal Plateau]
Local wildlife scatters at the slightest noise, causing a cacophony of rustling grass and snapping twigs as they escape into the surrounding cedars. Pyramidal arrangements of rocks, some crudely painted or carved with symbols, dot the landscape and represent clear evidence of an intelligent influence in the area. Rising conspicuously at the northern edge of the otherwise unchanging horizon, a sharp incline leads to a glass edifice atop a prominent bluff.
Obvious paths: north, east.

[Lawlite's Home, Overseer Station]
Constructed from massive panes of perpetually unclouded enchanted glass, this large chamber offers unfettered surveillance of the heavens from a vast domed ceiling. Natural light pours in from every angle to create an outdoor ambiance. An ornate iroko chair rests at the head of a cluttered table in the center of the room. Although it could accommodate several more, only two additional chairs are placed around the table. A faint draft comes from a loosely secured silverwood door leading out to a back yard garden.
Obvious exits: south.

Chair:

Shaped from rich goldenoak with an ebon cushion, a Gerenshuge word is carved artistically into the apex of the seat back.
There appears to be something written on it.
A goldenoak chair reads:
"Noshu"

Table:

Though the furniture is well cared for, the various documents strewn across the table indicate a unique organizational style.

Second chair:

Shaped from deep ebonwood with a golden cushion, a Gerenshuge word is carved artistically into the apex of the seat back.
There appears to be something written on it.
An ebonwood chair reads:
"Rensh"

Third chair:

Parts of the wood seem to have darkened at a faster rate than others, creating a whorled appearance.
Indentations vaguely resembling footprints are worn into the generously padded seat cushion.
A Gerenshuge word is artistically rendered into the wood at the apex of the seat back.
There appears to be something written on it.
An ornate iroko chair reads:
"Sendirea"

On Table:

On the cluttered table you see a conspicuous note, a plate of stones and some scattered parchments.

Note:

There appears to be something written on it.
A conspicuous note reads:
Reminder: Do Not Throw Stones!

Stones:

Arranged on the plate in pyramidal fashion, several of the stones have been cut with runic symbols.

Parchments:

Various papers are scattered across the table: maps of the existing world, variations of worlds never before imagined,
and plans -- so many evil plans! And, let's be honest, one or two cutesy plans as well.

[Lawlite's Home, Snow Garden]
Thin layers of snow blanket the ground where cloudberry blossoms and moonlight gardenias vie for dominance, surrounded by religiously manicured hedges partially obscuring a mountainous ridge. Hollow, methodical echoes resonate throughout the area in response to the steady movements of an elaborately lifesculpted bamboo fountain. A silverwood door carved with the prominent image of a single blazing star leads back into the building, while a trail cut into the snow leads eastward to disappear into a crevice in the rock face.
Obvious paths: east.

Fountain:

A translucent icesteel framework supports six gradually angled bamboo chutes, each one shorter than the last,
carrying a stream of water in opposite directions. The aquatic conveyance mechanisms culminate in an elaborately
shaped stone lotus basin filled with clear blue water. Artificial vines of painted Elven ivy rise from the fountain,
crawling upward along the polished metal frame to recycle water through the system.

[Lawlite's Home, Frozen Grotto]
The rocks form natural seating surrounding a large raised spring that casts off a haze of steam, warming the cave to a pleasant temperature compared to the snowy conditions outside to the west. A short ramp leads into a spring.
Obvious exits: west.

Rocks:

Naturally flattened protrusions from the wall provide a place to sit and enjoy the warm steam.

[Lawlite's Home, Warm Spring]
Rippling in response to every movement, a phosphorescence of unknown origin creates a soft blue glow emanating from the heart of this private oasis. Droplets of condensation fall from the pointed tips of overhead stalactites, echoing in rhythmic intervals of light and sound.
You also see a short ramp.
Obvious exits: none.

Stalactites:

Rocky protrusions of varying length descend from the ceiling to sharply tapered points that continually sweat in the humid environment.
