black ironwood yarghul fitted with engraved silver bands | |
---|---|
Look: | The yarghul is a double-chambered wind instrument fashioned from two reed-like black ironwood tubes that have been fitted with a second, slit reed, though one is noticeably longer than the other. Silver bands engraved with intricate knotwork have been placed at the base of the mouthpiece and the joins between the reeds, framing the finger holes placed upon the shorter tube. |
