Notes
Simply typing the command CAST will only hit targets engaged with the caster. This means that enemies that the caster is advancing towards but has not yet reached pole range with may not be struck if they are not considered engaged (the ASSESS verb can provide a more accurate picture of what is engaged and what is not).
By using the syntax CAST AREA, everything in the room that is an eligible target (i.e. not dead or with a discharged Ethereal Shield) can be struck.
N.B.: The targeting mechanisms for this spell are currently broken, so it is not possible to accurately use the TARGET verb at this time.
