Story

Born to the Bone Elf clan in the Dragonspine Mountains, she was captured at ten years old by a Dwarven raid on her family home. Two years later her release was bartered for by a Wood Elf hunting party that was trading furs to the Dwarves.

Having had only a very limited time training with the Bone Elves she had only just begun exploring the lunar magic side of the arcane arts. Because of this she ignored her new clan's attempts to teach her their magics and woodcraft.

She left the clan shortly after turning fifty, still very much an outsider and made her way to Crossing. Upon arriving she immediately joined the Moon Mage guild under Kssarh and was both pleased and excited that his demeanor reflected that of her birth-clan.

During her studies, it was apparent that she had learned just enough on her own, and even that was out of order, that her progress in the guild was all but halted. Frustrated, she spent increasingly more time away from the confines of the tower and her studies.

It was during one of these sojourns that she witnessed a brawl outside the bank of Crossings. A Barbarian, swaggering and likely drunk, was taunting a red cloaked figure. Though not precisely frightened of the Barbarian she had developed a sense of self preservation and she knew, without the battle, that he could handle her like a doll if he had a mind to.

The figure spoke something that she didn't hear and then there was a sharp crack in the air. A bright red line appeared on the Barbarian's shoulder and she watched in growing wonder as his arm fell away, sliced completely off by something unseen. The figure wasn't done though. There was another crack and the Barbarian fell, no mirth in his eyes this time but no scream on his lips. His leg fell away like his body had grown tired of it.

Laying there, trying to staunch the blood from his leg and arm, she was impressed with the stoic nature of the Barbarian but only in retrospect. During the encounter she only had eyes for the figure.

He made his way to the fallen Barbarian, his gait slow and his posture such that he made it appear he was walking towards a midden heap. He raised his hand and she knew he was a S'kra Mur. A small flame appeared in his hand that quickly grew.

"It'sss almosst not worth the mana." He hissed. With a small flick of his wrist, the fireball now the size of her fist, shot towards the Barbarian's head. With nowhere to rebound to his head all but exploded.

He turned towards her then and she felt a thrill of fear course through her. "A perssson shhhould know their placccce."

From the bystanders she found out that the S'kra Mur was a Warmage. Without a word to the Moon Mages to which she'd pledged she shed their principles and joined the Warmages without a glance backwards.

She still harbors distrust and outright disdain for the Dwarves and her temper is legendary.
