So clearly something is off with the 'measure careful" thing or my Appraisal isn't high enough. With that in mind I didn't want to add the dimensions and carry capacity and have it be wrong. Please add what you see fit from my experience with the item. Thanks, and sorry.

: It's a parser oddity. Basically, when you put CAREFUL, it ignored the WITH YARDSTICK part. Yardsticks are always perfectly accurate, skill based isn't. -Moderator [[User:Caraamon|Caraamon Makdasi]]([[User talk:Caraamon|talk]]) 23:30, 14 May 2012 (UTC)

Ok,maybe someone else can make sense of this. I tried to measure this with my yardstick and my 403 in appraisal and got this:

>measure tog.case with yardsti You compare your togball case with the iron yardstick several times and are certain the interior length measures fifteen spans, the interior width measures ten spans, the interior height measures five spans and the case appears capable of holding about 1000 stones of weight.

so, I did it again...:

You compare your togball case with the iron yardstick several times and are certain the interior length measures fifteen spans, the interior width measures ten spans, the interior height measures five spans and the case appears capable of holding about 1000 stones of weight.

So. After that I thought it was good, but then I said to myself.. "you forgot to do it 'careful'" So I did and got this:

>measure tog.case with yardstick careful You are certain that the case's interior length measures fifteen spans, believe that the case's interior width measures ten spans and estimate that the case's interior height measures nine spans. You believe that the case's interior carrying capacity is about six hundred fifty-one stones. Roundtime: 8 sec.

>measure tog.case with yardstick careful You are certain that the case's interior length measures fifteen spans, think it is likely that the case's interior width measures ten spans and guess that the case's interior height measures one span. You are confident that the case's interior carrying capacity is about two hundred thirteen stones. Roundtime: 8 sec.

So clearly something is off with the 'measure careful" thing or my Appraisal isn't high enough. With that in mind I didn't want to add the dimensions and carry capacity and have it be wrong. Please add what you see fit from my experience with the item. Thanks, and sorry.

It's a parser oddity. Basically, when you put CAREFUL, it ignored the WITH YARDSTICK part. Yardsticks are always perfectly accurate, skill based isn't. -Moderator Caraamon Makdasi(talk) 23:30, 14 May 2012 (UTC)
