The Watchmen are a sect of elite guards in the city of Shard. They rank above the rank and file sentinels.
After the Outcast War, most police duties were left to Sentinels Lyle, Mitzasha, and Kristef.
The Watchmen temporarily retired in lieu of a larger sentinel force. In year 397, the group was formed again with Sentinels Neharon, Esharis, Kureta, and Janeros. Lyle also came out of retirement.
At the same time, the sentinel force was bolstered with new recruits from the House of the Steel Dove.
