Iyolo has a slightly angular face with a wine-colored birthmark in the shape of a star on the left cheekbone, slightly pointed ears, sparkling gold-flecked crystal green eyes, a perfectly proportioned, straight nose and a shallowly dimpled chin. His golden brown hair is shoulder length and loosely wavy, and is worn pulled back in a ponytail. He has a light growth of golden-brown stubble outlining a full mustache and beard that defines a strong jaw. He has tanned skin and a lean, muscular build.

One side of the hat brim is pulled up against the crown and secured with braided silversteel tied into a bardic knot. A huge white-feathered plume completes the design, adding a touch of flamboyance to the dapper design.
