Walls of jade edged in mahogany line the shrine, creating the feel of a clouded atmosphere. Finely carved from mahogany and possessing startling lifelikeness, lions peer out beyond their posts with an eyeless gaze. Translucent jade forms a platform that extends outward, towards a muted dome, while an archway leads back toward the hallway.

 "I am careful when I speak on Rutilor because I have a lot of thoughts on his domains of Truth and Justice. I also still have an outstanding vow of service to him. "

 "But old and recent events have lent me some comfort to reframe my previous experiences with those who have sworn service in his name."

 "It was during this time that Zoluren lost Prince Vorclaf. And with that fall, cast a long standing scar upon Zoluren. One I'm not certain has still healed even with all this time"

 "Since then, we have learned that not all who swear service in his name, even those who call themselves the Hounds of Rutilor, may always walk in the light as he would best approve."

 "We have a growing community coming together to better defend this Province, and a growing community that finds its heart in this Province. Or at least often a Home or Gathering place to stay and protect."

 "There have been many threats. They come and go and sometimes come crashing down and I am not always certain what is going on at all times. But I certain have some ideas - whethere people believe my grand ideas or not."

 "Our own Elurora has begun sit ins to reach out to the Paladin Guild Council regarding many matters. And while many Paladin's serve in the name of Rutilor and Chadatru, we must remember, sometimes paths look a bit different to all."

 "Rutilor stands for Justice and Truth. As an Immortal of the Light, he does not hide in shadows or Darkness. And we are gathering at his altar in his honor for this meeting."

Elurora asks, "Do we know anything that eats that? Like...an acid or something?"

Dasheek says, "As to that, I was unable to obtain enough titanium for any kind of experimentation in regards to magnetism."

Elurora says, "Not that flinging acid about is safe either..."

Navesi says, "I am not that skilled in alchemy, I am afraid."

Dasheek says, "Titanium is actually incredibly rare."

Jaelia asks Dasheek, "Maybe not on the Plane of Electricity?"

Navesi says, "And the Colossi have so far disappeared upon defeat."

Jaelia says to Navesi, "I think it would not hurt, if nothing else, we can also scout the area for anything else."

Navesi says, "Yes, perhaps we can combine it with a trip to the plane for our experimental purposes."

Chrysagon asks, "Is found but rare?"

You scrunch your forehead together and furrow your brow.

Jaelia asks, "Did we also notice that, although they came from outside Crossings, they seemed to start their attacks once in the City itself along Magen road, or are we uncertain? I thought the first time was upon Magen Road not too far from the Empath Guild?"

Navesi says, "It's also possible I am wrong about the titanium. I may be an Elementalist, but earth magic is not my strong suit, and I could only make a good educated guess."

Navesi says, "They appeared to leap in over the northeast gate."

Dasheek says, "I would like to ask that everyone interested formulate squads, and I'd like to offer to host a general meeting for those squad leaders, and their squads to be introduced in a few months time (ooc: Mid April.)."

Navesi asks, "Explain to us what a squad is, and what the duties would be?"

Dasheek says, "Following that, I'd like to see a squad leader meeting shortly afterward in order to hammer out details in regards to rules, and other sensitive topics we've already decided cannot really be addressed in a larger forat."

Dasheek coughs.

Belzor asks, "Responsibilities?"

Belzor asks, "Perhaps?"

You say, "We will be discussing the ideas regarding the specifics on how to organize a group of squads during this meeting."

Dasheek says, "A squad being a group of friends that want to operate under the ZDF banner. Responsibilities of the Squad Leader being to formulate the command structure, attend leadership meetings, and run events."

You say, "Including Dasheek's thoughts now, of course."

Imroth clears his throat.

Dasheek says, "The squad member responsibilities to include participating in the defense of Zoluren."

Illiya says, "I think some people may have missed the last discussion we had at the Zoluren meeting, so this was just building off what Maltris and Dasheek presented last time."

Saragos says, "What if, instead of pre-built squads, we have the skeleton of squads. So, what does a squad really need, ideally? You need a leader, an Empath, and at least one big damage dealer. It would be nice if you had a Cleric, and your leader was a Paladin, but that's not required."

Maltris says to Saragos, "Well, the concept of the squad is always going to have a best case scenario, but it doesn't have to be."

When trouble hits, squad leaders hit up the pools of Empaths around, and then once they've got one, calls people to form up on them. This gets the people who aren't friends with enough folk to be in a pre-built squad a clear opportunity to join up, and it's more flexible than having 6 squads, only half of which might be there at any time."
