It has been 452 years, 100 days since the Victory of Lanival the Redeemer.

Gragnel says, "I'd like for you all to turn your attention to Cleric of Phelim, Vythlak, who has prepared something for you all."

Gragnel gestures at you.

You nod to Gragnel.

You say, "For those who do not know me, I am Vythlak, Cleric of Phelim."

You murmur softly to yourself, "May Phelim send me sweet dreams and true visions."

You suddenly still and your eyes start to flicker with gold, then blue, then silver.

A pale blue nimbus explodes outward, enshrouding your body like a ghostly blanket.  Slender tendrils of silver vapor slowly arise from the cloud and reach for your eyes like long spectral fingers.

You chant in a baritone voice:

    "Spirits of the oceans,
      Spirits of the seas,
       Spirits of the rivers,
        Spirits of the lakes,
         Spirits of the pool.
     Answer our pleas!"

    "Spirits of sailors saved,
       Spirits of sailors lost,
      Spirits of sailors rescued,
     Answer our call!"

You walk along the edge of the pool, your feet leaving splashes of water on the rocks as you softly sing a song about knowledge lost, knowledge gained, knowledge saved, knowledge taken.

An incandescent veil of silver momentarily clouds your vision, adding a lustrous tinge to everything around you.

You feel a deep vibration coming from the ground beneath Gragnel.

You softly say, "Yes, they are answering the call."

Leilanie breathes almost without making a sound.

You walk amongst the gathered folk then stop next to Gragnel, staring intently past his shoulder.

You kneel, then lay down with your left ear held just above the rocks and near Gragnel's feet.

The glimmers of light above Unaka's head swim around each other, connecting briefly into a halo.

You softly say, "Whisper the secrets in our dreams, help guide us towards the knowledge we need to overcome our trials."

A petite grey-green katydid extends one leg and then the other before resuming its musical chirping.

You observe those around you through a hybrid view of the Void and the mortal realm.

The supernatural sight granted to you fades, returning your vision to normal.

You blink.

You feel a bit weak in the knees and find yourself wobbling.

You blink.

You groggily say, "Sorry about that.  Still getting the hang of things."

You cough.

You say, "For those who do not know me, I am Vythlak, Cleric of Phelim."

You adjust your lambswool stole into place.

You say, "From our last gathering, a task was not merely to talk about the Immortals, but to act in their name."
 
You say, "Since our gathering today is in honor of Eluned and Truffenyi, I visited several libraries."

You say, "Libraries are both a sign of civilization and a symbol - one way or another - of Lemicus, Eluned, and Drogor."

You say, "I spent time talking with scholars, wandering dusty halls, reading some books."

You softly say, "Studying and observing the spirits of those places."

You say, "As I read through some of the older tomes, I got to thinking about Drogor, and when it might be good to lose knowledge and when it might be bad."

You carefully examine a graceful dolphin statue.

You ask, "For it is easy to say that knowledge should never be lost.  Yet is that always true?"

You say, "We know from some of the oldest texts, fragments that the Heralds likely saved the world when powerful magics were about to be cast by mages of the Wind Clan."

You say, "At the last moment, they intervened and wiped out the Clan.  Those magics have been since lost to the winds of time."

You ask, "But if they were found again, would it not be best for them to be lost?"

You say, "On the other hand, we also recover things from the past that had been lost.  Treatises on healing, beneficial magics, and what not."

You say, "So it is not always good to have things within Drogor's gaze."

You say, "Let us now give a prayer to Drogor to turn his gaze away from our plans and towards the machinations of the Heralds."

    "Drogor cast your gaze,
     Upon the plots of the Heralds.
     Let their plans turn awry,
     Forgotten at opportune times."

    "Come as a hurricane,
     With your might and anger
     Aiding Urrem'tier in his assault,
     A tidal wave to cast them aside."

    "Lord of the endless deeps,
     Reap their plans,
     Bring them to ruin."

    "Keep your attentions
     Firmly focused on the Heralds.
     Do not being ruin to our own plans."


You throw your head back and howl, "The enemies of Lord Drogor shall drown as the sharks tear them apart limb from limb, and their blood shall feed the lightless depths!"

You adjust your lambswool stole into place.

You nod to Gragnel.

Gragnel says, "Thank you, Vythlak, for your words on Lord Drogor."
