A cavernous lecture hall stretches outward from a set of huge double doors with glossy curved handles. Rows of seats extend down the aisles to a high stage platform at the front, each chair with a small wooden table resting on the arm for ease in taking notes. You also see a lissome russet panther with rivulets of azure rippling through its fur that is sitting and some huge double doors.

Saragos says, "I differ a bit from Tirost on my interpretation on the planar mechanics of where Zengmodaleth is. But to talk about that, I would like to give some background on how we were able to reach this place."

Saragos says, "The story of reaching Zengmodaleth begins not with Electricity, but with Aether."

Saragos says, "It was, "a blue-tinted, amorphous sphere that hovered a few feet above the ground, ebbing and flowing with a strange rhythm. Roughly three feet across, it gave off neither heat nor cold, yet seemed to push back at its surroundings with a steady force. No matter the viewing angle, I felt as though I were observing the same side of the sphere, and it seemed almost to skitter back and forth across my vision, my perception struggling to make sense of conflicting information."

Saragos says, "Within, we saw in the distance a vast landscape of jutting features melting and erupting into new forms, flowing between geometric structure and mutable orbs of transparent mist. Massive forms shifted in the distance, silhouetted. Attempting to enter it resulted in instant death. Ultimately, the anomaly lasted for several weeks before dissipating and leaving no sign of its presence."

Saragos says, "We were curious as to whether our methods were destined only to open a tunnel to the Plane of Aether, a place incompatible with our form of life, or if there could be other applications. We figured, if a portal was going to be opened, a more interesting place would be the Plane of Electricity, as it was already known to have space, as opposed to being an elemental singularity."

Saragos says, "So we went to the site of the Suur Pillar, a place known to be an existing intersection between the Plane of Abiding and the Plane of Electricity. We were warned that the Lord of the Void takes a special interest in that plane, but we had experimented safely, and with only temporary results previously, and figured that at least it could start a conversation between us and him, if he intervened."
