[Wyvern Arena, Centerfield] (**)

Light from evenly placed wall torches illuminates the the dirty white sand of the stadium floor, which is packed rather hard in places. The cloying smells of blood and sweat mingle in the air, hanging thick and making the arena smell rather musty. Clouds of sand roll across the arena like a low fog, added to frequently by the fierce battles. You also see an arisen moradu zombie, a risen abhorrence and an immense dirt construct.

Obvious paths: northeast, southeast, southwest, northwest.

Vilhja gets a hazy glass gyre prominently inscribed with esoteric runes from inside his ghoulskin pack.

Vilhja concentrates on his gyre, releasing a frenzy of light and sound!

You catch sight of Jazrial as he approaches Vilhja from behind with a determined expression.  After getting into position, he suddenly strikes, catching Vilhja by surprise and landing a solid blow to the back of his skull.Vilhja manages to evade Jazrial's bottle of naphtha, leaping nimbly out of the way!  With a sudden *POP* the bottle of naphtha shatters harmlessly against the gravel.

With a horrendous suction noise, Jazrial is bodily lifted and held afloat.  Cracks form in his flesh, in the semblance of parched earth under the sun, exposing the blood and muscle beneath.  Amid screams he becomes flayed in one horrific instant, unseen forces tearing broad swathes of skin from his body and scattering them with wet plops.

Jazrial stands up.

Vilhja sweeps a foot at Jazrial, knocking him off his feet!

The wave directly blasts into Jazrial's abdomen, destroying the majority of the torso as it does so.  All that remains is a bleached center of a skeleton that clatters to the ground.

Jazrial falls unconscious!

A stentorian voice announces, "Jazrial loses!"
