[Arhat's Tower, Workshop]
Very little is recognizable from the workshop's original contents. The walls are broken off at half their intended height and the area lies open to the elements. The only obvious sign of the room's prior function, odd glowing stains marking the floor, are most likely the result of past experiments gone awry.You also see a stone seat, a burning large fire, a small fiery fissure, a chubby grey and white tuxedo cat with white paws that is sitting, a grey cat that is sleeping, an azure fig tree, an articulated maple necklace and a spectral white leopard with luminous blue eyes that is sitting.

Rejind asks, "Perhaps the message for Saragos and Ezerak should wait until they are present?"

Madigan puts his spectacles in his traveler's pack.

Severei twitches an ear nervously.

Sliyder says, "What are we at war with is the problem."

Madigan says to Rileos, "If you say anything about my glasses, I am going to toss you into the moat."

Rileos says to Madigan, "Man of your age? Nah."

Rileos looks at Madigan, obviously trying not to grin.

Severei says, "And how do we fix it is the other? Nobody has an answer for that."

Nawain stretches out a hand imploringly to Madigan.

Kethrai says to Severei, "It means they're aware of the imbalance, and they agree that the way to get them back here is to fix it."

Rejind thoughtfully says, "We have learned something significant from this, though."

Severei says, "That's not what I'm saying."

Rileos asks Nawain, "Miskton is single and too smart for his own good, what'd he have say?"

Severei says, "Something none of our recent visitors have been able to answer is what we are supposed to be doing to fix it."

With a waver like a mirage, Waydren fades into view.

Nawain says to Rileos, "He had a message for Vaerek."

Rileos says, "Miskton is single, right? I don't want to imagine he's not."

Madigan asks, "And, you recongnized their voice. There is no question in your mind?"

Nawain says to Rileos, "Vaerek, hope this reaches you. Spread the word. We are all still alive. Our magic is suppressed. No physical restraints, but no objects or landscape to interact with. Passage of time difficult to gauge. No sign of captors. Do not believe we have moved far from initial entry point, but difficult to judge."

Danger Wizard Dasheek just arrived, leading his group.

Nawain nods to Madigan.

Nawain says, "No question at all."

You gaze at Nawain.

Illiya asks, "So who here killed the magic?"

Illiya says, "I assume Vaerek's message was from Miskton."

Rileos says, "And that rock."

Anuril gives a slight nod.

Nawain says, "I wrote it down. As I listened. I didn't want to forget."

Nawain says, "That's where the voices were loudest."

Nawain quietly says, "Thought I was hallucinating at first."

Illiya asks Nawain, "Were you praying or doing something of particular at the time?"

(Kethrai uses the tip of one of his blades to mark each of the rocks round the rock that was mentioned. He carefully avoids touching that one.)

Nawain says, "Rock 139. Saragos calls it that."

You glance down at your empty hands.

Waydren says, "Clearly I am missing necessary information for this to make sense."

Rileos says, "Okay, new rule for everyone in case you get kidnapped. Make sue you open with something only you so we know it's you."

Waydren smiles.

Kethrai says to Rileos, "Each of the messages seems to be... appropriately channeling their personality. I feel like that's something the extra-planar beings struggle to understand."

Severei says, "Fix it, fix it, that's all everyone has been demanding of us. Even Dantia says less talk, more fix. But HOW. FIX. FIX. WHAT."

Nawain quietly says, "It sounds like Navesi is losing hope."

Nawain gnaws on her lip.

Rejind says, "The key is sorcery. The question remains do we want more or less of it."

Anuril frowns.

Illiya says, "Okay hint to everyone, if you get kidnapped and have the ability to send a message give us some useful information please."

You frown at Nawain.

Waydren asks Nawain, "Friend, could you start once more at the beginning?"

Kethrai says, "This gives us a lot of useful information."

Madigan asks, "What thing is that Anuril?"

Kethrai says, "Yeah."

Anuril asks Madigan, "Didn't you have it the other andu, in Shard?"

Illiya's sturdy belt emits a loud *snap*.
A sizzling sound briefly emanates from Illiya's direction.

Dark stripes form upon his skin, rippling with feral power.

A ribbon of light darts around Waydren, leaving behind crystal clear water suspended in its wake. It zips along with incredible speed, shrouding Waydren in a sphere of water within moments. The sphere rumbles and constricts with pressure, then explodes outward!

Nawain says to Waydren, "Magic turned off. As soon as it came back, I started checking over my... project... and thought maybe it was broken. I... I despaired at the thought of starting again, because it was so much work, and took so much mana... But then I heard their voices. From very far off, until I got close enough to that stone."
