[General][Unaka] "Think about it for a while, I think. I wonder what you'll think."
[General][Rhadyn] "We know it's not Raeh cause of huggin' and all"
[General][Souv] "everyone knows it's me"
[General][Rhadyn] "Is it me when I'm in Aesry?"
[General][Unaka] "Never thought about it being a person. Seems like civilization is about a lot of people."
[General][Raeh] "Like a common enemy."
[General][Kethrai] "So this is a place? In the geographic center?"
[General][Rhadyn] "Crazy talk. Are you related to Jaelia"
[General][Unaka] "Yeah. Something like that. That's what I think, anyway."
[General][Raeh] "It sounds very philosophical to me"
[General][Harsh] "does this help us find our missing friends? where are they Unaka? and also are you a dragon as well like that scholar i met the other day"
[General][Unaka] "But more than just location. There's something about things that are built, by a lot of hands. By a lot of minds."
[General][Avrenka] "Are you referring to the Temple perhaps?"
[General][Unaka] "I think the Temple is a pretty big accomplishment, myself."
[General][Elizzibiana] "possibly talkin about the Hive"
[General][Rhadyn] "The hive is a good thought"
[General][Unaka] "I don't know anything about missing friends. And I'm not a dragon. Some reason you ask that?"
[General][Zalinyar] "Send me the weak and sorcerous Paladins, I shall lock them in my basement where they shall not weaken the bulwark!"
[General][Raeh] "He asks everybody that."
[General][Nawain] "Meh. Temple's just a big building. It's pretty enough, but it can fall down, without destroying civilization."
[General][Unaka] "Takes a lot of working together to build something like a Temple, though."
[General][Nawain] "Probably about the same amount of people as it would take to make the North Trade Route."
[General][Avrenka] "the Temple has been the epicenter of many powerful spells and events, historically"
[General][Maintain] "The Temple is more than just a structure. It is...complicated. That is part of why this monk resides in Vela'tohr."
[General][Valynn] "Sounds as if you are thinking of a community."

[Eyes of the Thirteen, Eye of Truffenyi]
The granite platform sparkles slightly where touched by the diffused light shed by the silvery blue dome. Silver feathers inlaid in the crystal dapple the surface of a polished granite altar with tiny shadows that almost blend into the stone's already mottled surface. Rising from the altar's center is an ornately carved triptych statue crafted so seamlessly as to appear an extension of the same stone of the altar.You also see a grey cat that is sleeping and a tall silver candlestick.
Also here: Bastion of Life Karthor, Truthseeker Elurora whose figure is gracefully highlighted in a soft aurora of silvery-violet light, Mathematician Avrenka, Veteran Apprentice Anuril who has a fiery visage, Heart Tender Kethrai and Conqueror of the Wilds Unaka.

Avrenka says, "Curious how an Empath and Warrior Mage knew to come here."

Karthor says, "It's the temple, nobody's sure where they're goin' here. Place's an actual labyrinth."

Karthor grins at Elurora.

You grin at Karthor.

Anuril dryly says to Avrenka, "I'm a curious fellow."

Unaka nods.

Avrenka smirks.

[General][Elizzibiana] "as Crossing original has been destroyed in the past, rebuilt, but was threatened again in the past"

Elurora bows.

Kethrai says, "We're good at riddles."

[General][Valynn] "A community is more than a building, it's a feeling and knowing you have friends who will have your back when you need them."

Elurora gazes thoughtfully at Unaka.

You see Conqueror of the Wilds Unaka, Maul of Truffenyi of Elanthia, a Gor'Tog Paladin.
Unaka has an oval face, dark brown eyes and a straight nose. She has jade skin and a brawny figure.
She is tall for a Gor'Tog.
She appears to be an adult.
She has a polished horn nose ring banded in gold piercing her septum. Thin flame-marked bands decorate the cinereous horn, adding a fancy flourish to the simple hoop.
She has a tattoo of a swath of tribal war markings on her face.
She is in good shape.

She is wearing a pilgrim's badge shaped like an ox skull, some iron pauldrons accented with a pair of ox horns, a white linen blouse cut to expose the midriff, a thick leather weapon harness with gold buckles, some segmented leather gauntlets embellished with gold buckles, a rough leather war belt with a buckle accented by a pair of tusks, some tanned hide breeches framed with a bearskin tasset accented with carved bone and a pair of faded bear-hide boots wrapped with leather straps.

Unaka asks, "Or maybe they had a little help?"

Unaka smiles at Kethrai.

Karthor closes his eyes for a moment and grows still.

Elurora says, "I had help finding out where you were."

Elurora nods to Unaka.

Avrenka says, "I had the moon and stars guide me here."

Unaka shrugs.

Kethrai pets Anuril's grey cat.

Unaka says, "Doesn't matter. What matters is that you're here."

Anuril says to Avrenka, "You find friends where you can."

Anuril nods to Unaka.

You notice as a white dog pads into the room.

The white dog begins to watch the goings on carefully.

[General][Valynn] "Where is Jaelia and here flock of gooses."

Elurora gazes thoughtfully at Unaka.

Unaka says, "Anyway. I was just thinking about civilization, and where the heart of it might be."

Elurora slowly asks, "And you think it is here?"

Unaka says, "I know Truffenyi pretty well right now, and yeah, I do think it is here."

You look over the area and notice that it does not appear to be a residential neighborhood.

Elurora casually observes the area.

Anuril ponders.

Karthor casually observes the area.

Kethrai asks, "Strange phrasing. Right now?"

Unaka says, "There's a reason the Crossing is the Crossing. Rivers crossing, but also people. The center of circles is a great place for people to meet."

Unaka nods to Kethrai.

Anuril gives a slight nod.

Unaka says, "More than before, that's for sure."

Avrenka asks, "Much like the Plane of Abiding, no?"

Elurora asks, "I do not know Truffenyi well, could I ask what brings you to that thought?"

Karthor says, "A place where paths cross, ya might say."

You ask Unaka, "What sort of circle do you mean?"

Elurora cocks her head at Unaka.

Unaka says, "Plane of... I don't follow."

Avrenka chuckles.

Anuril says, "Pardon our obliqueness, we've been dealing with some rather interesting times lately."

Anuril smiles at Unaka.

Unaka says, "Hold on, I like to take things slow. One thing at a time."

Avrenka closes his eyes and grows still for a few long moments.

You quietly say to Anuril, "Too true."

Elurora blushes, the tips of her ears turning a delicate scarlet hue.

You nod to Unaka.

Unaka asks Elurora, "Which thought?"

Karthor says, "Ah good, that's refereshin'. Been a bit of a whirlwind here all of a sudden."

Karthor twitches.

Elurora says to Unaka, "That Truffenyi's altar is the center."

Anuril examines a low granite altar.

Unaka says, "Ah, yeah."

Unaka says, "So, Zoluren is at the center of all the provinces, the ones we can get to anyway."

Elurora gives Unaka a slight nod.

Unaka says, "The Crossing is at the center of Zoluren. And this Temple is at the center of the Crossing."

Anuril gives a slight nod.

Kethrai says, "More or less."

Elurora chews on her lip, looking deep in concentration.

Anuril searches around for a moment.

Unaka asks, "And on top of that. Everywhere Truffenyi has gone, or will go, is holy, right?"

The altar looks a bit dusty.
The altar sits on the platform near the edge of the dome. The triptych statue placed upon it is turned in such a way that it appears as if the eyes of the Truffenyi carving upon it are looking through the dome into the chamber below.

Elurora furrows her brow.

Anuril ponders.

Avrenka gets some icy-blue celestial charts detailed in dark blue ink from inside his black backpack.

You notice as a spotted storm-grey lynx with piercing blue eyes pads into the room.
The storm-grey lynx begins to watch the goings on carefully.

Avrenka carefully reviews his charts.

You reach out and touch a low granite altar.
A tingle runs through your skin as you touch a low granite altar.

Anuril quietly says, "Not my area of expertise."

Elurora asks, "But couldn't taht be said of any God?"

Unaka says, "Makes me wonder if they built here because that's what he wanted. Father of civilization."

Avrenka puts his charts in his black backpack.

Karthor nods at Anuril, obviously agreeing with his views.

Kethrai nods at Anuril, obviously agreeing with his views.

Avrenka asks, "What about the other 12 immortals? They're not the center?"

Unaka says, "And maybe they put his altar right at the center, because he's the one who wanted it."

Unaka says, "I mean. Eh."

Unaka grins at Avrenka.

Karthor strokes his beard in thoughtful contemplation.

Elurora chuckles.

Anuril stands near a low granite altar.

You chortle softly at some secret joke.

Unaka says, "Truffenyi is the one who really cares about people, if you ask me."

Avrenka says, "What a surprise, a paladin of Truffenyi thinks Truffenyi is the center of the world."

Avrenka coughs.

Anuril looks at Avrenka, obviously trying not to grin.

Elurora just nudged Avrenka.

Avrenka says, "Excuse me, I was coughing."

Unaka says to Elurora, "Oh, yeah, and he also showed me a vision of this place. That might have had something to do with it too."

Karthor chuckles.

Anuril snorts, loudly.

Kethrai angles his ears forward, gazing curiously at Unaka.

Elurora asks Unaka, "Would you tell us of your vision?"

Elurora smiles at Unaka.

Karthor says, "Ya might've led with that..."

Karthor grins.

Unaka says, "Hmmm. Yeah, sure."

Elurora beams at Unaka!

Kethrai says to Karthor, "Said she likes to take things slow."

Karthor nods to Kethrai.

Anuril takes a sip of his tea.

Unaka asks, "So, have any of you ever had a vision before?"

Anuril gives a slight nod.

Kethrai gives a slight nod.

Karthor nods.

Elurora gives Unaka a slight nod.

Mountain Lord Ezerak's group came across Truffenyi's shrine.

Avrenka says, "Maybe."

Avrenka smirks.

Ezerak doffs his top hat.

Anuril nods to Ezerak.

Unaka asks, "Okay. And did you ever have, like, five of them at once?"

Elurora shakes her head at Unaka.

You scratch one ear, feeling bemused.

Kethrai frowns.

You say, "Can't say that I have, myself."

Kethrai says, "That sounds awful."

The wan light of the dome sparkles where it touches the silver flecks and feathers inset into the floor.

Anuril quietly says to Ezerak, "They are describing to us a vision they have had."

Karthor says, "Yeesh, that sounds like a lot to take in."

Avrenka says, "Every time."

Anuril nods to Unaka.

Ezerak says to Anuril, "Thank you."

Unaka says, "I think it was kinda like that."

You angle your ears forward, gazing curiously at Unaka.

Elurora softly says, "Most of the visions I see are given to me by moon mages or when I use my soulstone, and those are very small."

Unaka says, "I know you want to know more. I'll get there. It might take some time."

Anuril smiles.

Ezerak whispers something to Anuril.

Maraisel looks over Unaka very closely.

Anuril nods to Ezerak.

Avrenka closes his eyes and grows still for a few long moments.

Elurora nods to Unaka.

Elurora says, "Please take your time."

Casari asks, "More visions? What did I miss?"

Avrenka says, "Yeah and hurry up."

Avrenka ducks his head.

Planar Pilgrim Maintain's group came across Truffenyi's shrine.

Kethrai just nudged Avrenka.

Unaka says, "But, okay. One little piece. It was like an ox head came out of the sky and spoke right to me. Only maybe he was also my father, at the same time."

Harsh smiles.

Maraisel glances at Avrenka.

A horned phantom thrall hobbles in with a yip, tailing after its master.

Elurora blinks at Unaka.

Anuril nods to Unaka.

Ezerak acts puzzled.

Ryeka curtsies to Unaka.

Maintain bows.

Ezerak looks over Unaka very closely.

Maintain touches a hand to his mouth and offers a prayer for the continued safety and good fortune of the people surrounding him.

Harsh gives a courteous nod and tips his blob politely.

Unaka says, "Seems like I can do a bit more now, too. But that's getting ahead of myself."

You observe Unaka with fascination.

Avrenka says, "Ox, the symbol of Truffenyi."

Elurora cocks her head at Unaka.

Anuril quietly says, "For those newly arrived, this person is describing a vision Truffenyi has granted them."

Ryeka peers quizzically at Unaka.

Unaka says, "Vision. Maybe experience, more like."

Ryeka nods.

Aaiyaah jots down some notes.

Casari looks thoughtfully at Unaka.

(Elurora stands quietly obviously focused on listening to Unaka.)

Avrenka taps his foot impatiently.

Ryeka smiles at a white dog.

Unaka says, "I was sitting outside, tending a bit to my fire. There was a flower nearby, something I wanted to care for, just in my spare time."

Ryeka nods.

Unaka says, "Then, yeah. Ox head out of the sky. Boom."

Anuril appears to be trying hard not to grin.

Elurora flashes a quick grin at Unaka.

Ryeka grins, revealing her dimples.

Karthor strokes his beard in thoughtful contemplation.

Unaka says, "And it was like I was hearing everything normal, but also like I just knew it all along."

Avrenka stares in confusion at his celestial charts.

Ezerak asks Unaka, "What did it say?"

Unaka says to Casari, "Yeah, like a purple."

Anuril gives Unaka a slight nod.

Kuge came across Truffenyi's shrine.

Ryeka nods to Unaka.

Avrenka refers to his celestial charts for guidance.

Ryeka asks, "Like this?"

Ryeka offers Unaka a sprig of lavender.

Harsh quietly says, "I love the smell of purple."

Unaka accepts Ryeka's sprig of lavender.

Harsh nods.

Ryeka smiles, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.

Unaka asks, "Hey, yeah. How did you know?"

Unaka sniffs at a sprig of lavender.

Unaka says, "Good stuff."

Ezerak nibbles his lip thoughtfully.

Ryeka says, "We talked about visions recently."

Ezerak says, "That vision."

Ezerak nods to Ryeka.

Ryeka says, "Including one about lavender."

Unaka says, "The one I found was looking a bit wilted. Sometimes I like to protect things like that."

Valynn's group came across Truffenyi's shrine.

Maintain says, "Better than taupe, one supposes..."

Valynn winks at Leilanie.

Ryeka nods.

Elurora smiles at Unaka.

You nod at Ryeka, in complete agreement with her views.

Casari asks, "Right. Moon Mages saw a vision of... you, maybe?"

Unaka asks, "Me?"

Casari says, "Maybe."

Leilanie whispers something to Valynn.

Aaiyaah winks at Valynn.

Leilanie grins at Valynn.

Elurora asks Unaka, "Were you clearing brambles by chance?"

Maraisel looks thoughtfully at Unaka.

Unaka says, "Well, I guess the big ox head was something special."

Valynn grins at Leilanie.

Aaiyaah moves over to guard Valynn.

Unaka exclaims, "Yeah, I was!"

Maraisel nods at Elurora, obviously agreeing with her views.

Aaiyaah moves into position to cover Valynn from harm.

Valynn smiles at Aaiyaah.

Unaka nods to Elurora.

Ryeka chuckles.

Harsh blinks.

Ryeka nods to Unaka.

Maraisel says to Elurora, "I was wondering the same."

Karthor strokes his beard in thoughtful contemplation.

Maraisel chuckles.

Elurora says, "It does sound like the vision was of you."

Ryeka exclaims, "Then I've been looking for you!"

Anuril whispers something to Kethrai.

Elurora gazes thoughtfully at Unaka.

Kethrai coughs.

Ryeka says, "Though I didn't know it was you."

Ryeka smiles, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.

Unaka smiles at Ryeka.

Unaka says, "Well, here I am."

Anuril mumbles a word of general praise.

Harsh quietly says, "Not a dragon either."

Harsh gets an impish expression on his face, and lets out a hearty cheer.

Ryeka chuckles.

Karthor chuckles.

Elurora asks Unaka, "Was there more to your visions?"

Unaka says, "So, you know, the message. Don't know if I can get it all out in one go, but here goes."

Elurora nods to Unaka.

Elurora blushes, the tips of her ears turning a delicate scarlet hue.

Ezerak gazes at Unaka.

Ale Beard Rhadyn came across Truffenyi's shrine.

Unaka says, "He loves us. We're his children. He might be harsh sometimes, but it's out of love."

Ryeka smiles at Rhadyn, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.

Elurora tilts her head, clearly curious about something.

Rhadyn nods to Ryeka.

Anuril glances at Harsh.

Anuril glances at Unaka.

Karthor strokes his beard in thoughtful contemplation.

You scrunch your forehead together and furrow your brow.

Harsh quietly says to Anuril, "Its not me."

Unaka says, "He wants us to survive, and apparently there's some dangerous things going on. He wasn't exactly clear on what."

Harsh shakes his head.

Elurora nods at Unaka, obviously agreeing with her views.

Anuril looks at Harsh, obviously trying not to grin.

Anuril nods to Harsh.

Unaka says, "He was pretty clear that we shouldn't be listening to everyone who has something to say, though."

Ryeka nods to Unaka.

Elurora chews on her lip, looking deep in concentration.

Unaka frowns.

Langen Esturi Nilme came across Truffenyi's shrine.

Anuril gazes thoughtfully at Unaka.

Harsh quietly says, "Like the fella what said we shouild stop sorcery perhaps."

Kethrai angles his ears forward in curiosity.

Maintain frowns.

Unaka says, "Seems like there might be some danger there. Or maybe they're just wrong."

Kethrai says to Harsh, "Or the fella what said we should do more of it."

You stand near Nilme.

Avrenka says, "Or the other fella who said we should not stop sorcery."

Nilme smiles at you.

Harsh quietly says, "So many fellas."

Nilme tried to join you, but you indicate to her that Elurora is leading.
Nilme joins Elurora's group.

Harsh sighs.

Elurora hugs Nilme, who wraps her arms around Elurora with a warm smile.

Unaka says, "Sounds like you've been listening to a lot of fellows already."

Unaka chuckles.

Elurora says, "There are a lot of folks giving...advice."

Avrenka says, "Question is, which fella do we listen to."

Kethrai says, "Hearing them out, more like."

Anuril nods at Elurora, obviously agreeing with her views.

Casari says, "I guess we're listening to you, too. But at least you're talking about an Immortal. That's better."

Unaka nods.

Maintain folds his arms across his chest.

Unaka says, "I'm just telling you what he told me."

Avrenka closes his eyes and grows still for a few long moments.

Ryeka nods to Unaka.

Elurora asks Unaka, "Did he say anything about who we should listen to?"

Kethrai asks, "Don't suppose he gave any clues to know who we should listen to?"

Elurora looks at Kethrai, obviously trying not to grin.

Valynn gazes at an ornately carved triptych statue.

You nod at Casari, in complete agreement with her views.

Aaiyaah jots down some notes.

Unaka says, "He wants us to listen to him."

Ryeka chuckles.

Kethrai ponders.

Unaka says, "And... I'm pretty sure he wants me here to help."

Ryeka nods to Unaka.

Elurora softly asks, "Should we pray?"

Elurora furrows her brow.

Harsh smiles at Elurora.

Casari says, "Sounds like the best way to hear an Immortal."

Leilanie nods to you.

Unaka says, "Pray if you want to, sure. I think he wants us to talk too, though."

Ezerak nods at Casari, obviously agreeing with her views.

Anuril asks Unaka, "You said there was something, or things, new that you could now do, since receiving this vision?"

Unaka nods to Anuril.

Unaka says, "Noticed it on the way here."

Anuril asks, "Are you then to teach us?"

Anuril asks, "Or those of us who are able to learn?"

Unaka says, "Hmm. Doubt I can do that."

You angle your ears forward, gazing curiously at Unaka.

Elurora asks, "What are the new things you can do?"

Harsh quietly says, "Oh."

Harsh snaps his fingers.

Unaka says, "Protect, though. I might be able to help with that."

Ryeka gets a crystal vial from inside her spidersilk backpack.

Ryeka nods to Unaka.

Tempest Knight Saragos's group came across Truffenyi's shrine.

Unaka says, "Truffenyi seems to really want that."

Elurora smiles at Harsh.

Saragos fixes Unaka with a frank, even stare.

Harsh smiles.

Elurora asks, "Protection?"

Avrenka nods to Saragos.

You smile at Unaka.

Unaka nods to Elurora.

Ryeka washes a low granite altar with her holy water.

Harsh nods to Elurora.

Rejind closes his eyes for a moment and grows still.

The clear pool of water soaks into the ground, leaving no trace of its presence.

Ezerak gazes at Unaka.

Crobin just hugged Harsh.

Ezerak asks Unaka, "Protect how?"

Unaka says, "Hello."

Harsh hugs Crobin gingerly, trying not to hurt him.

Aaiyaah leans on Crobin.

Ryeka looks up and sighs, smiling.

You ask, "What did you discover you're able to do that's different now?"

Saragos says to Unaka, "Finish what you were saying about protection. Then I have questions."

Crobin chuckles at Harsh.

Harsh grins.

Unaka says, "Not sure yet. But I'm here to try. Truffenyi wants me to try."

Ryeka shivers suddenly, seeming less secure.

Anuril ponders.

Saragos says, "This might be important."

You gaze at Saragos.

Casari nods at Saragos, obviously agreeing with his views.

Anuril asks Unaka, "Were you a member of a guild before this vision?"

Ezerak nods at Saragos, obviously agreeing with his views.

Elurora says to Unaka, "I know about protecting people with my shield but I am not sure if that is what you mean."

Unaka says, "I figure you all are going to tell me how best to protect. But I'm here to do it."

Unaka nods to Anuril.

Unaka says, "Paladin."

Anuril nods to Unaka.

Unaka sniffs at a sprig of lavender.

Rhadyn taps something inside his utility belt.

Avrenka ponders.

Harsh glances heavenward a moment and utters a desperate prayer.

Unaka says, "If there are these other guys telling you things, well. Maybe we should talk about it and figure out what to do."

Avrenka asks, "Didn't Khoheke believe that Paladins needed to keep their souls pure in order to strengthen the Bulwark?"

Anuril ponders.

You slowly and deliberately empty your filled lungs.

Elurora chews on her lip, looking deep in concentration.

Elurora nods at Unaka, obviously agreeing with her views.

Unaka says, "Don't know a Khoheke."

Saragos says to Unaka, "Tell me very carefully about what sort of protection you learned about from your vision."

Ryeka nods to Unaka.

Maintain says to Harsh, "He is a patronymical type. Protecting would be more likely than a direct lesson."

Karthor says, "He was also in the "stop sorcery" camp, fer what that's worth."

Unaka fixes Saragos with a heavy, ponderous stare.

Avrenka nods to Karthor.

Aaiyaah closes his leather-bound chronicle, hooking back the latch.

Shh'oiyvh-ur Ograth Elizzibiana came across Truffenyi's shrine.

Leilanie closes her eyes for a moment and grows still.

Unaka says, "In the vision it was just clear he wanted you all protected."

Anuril smiles.

Avrenka asks, "If we were to protect the "lavender flower", well doesn't that represent Meraud and magic?"

Unaka says, "Civilization should be protected."

Saragos asks Unaka, "But how? Was there anything you thought might have been a message?"

Elurora slowly asks, "Did he say anything about the Bulwark?"

Unaka gazes thoughtfully at Avrenka.

Kuge goes up.

Harsh quietly says, "Meraud's blessing does seem to offer some feeling of protection during wild mana flare up's."

Harsh nods.

Karthor asks, "By clearin' out the .... sorcerous brambles, to carry the metaphor?"

Avrenka says to Harsh, "Now there's an idea."

Unaka says, "Hold on, we're going kinda fast. One thing at a time."

Harsh quietly says, "Ive done it."

Harsh nods to Avrenka.

Unaka says, "I'm not used to so many people."

Unaka grins.

Ryeka grins, revealing her dimples.

Anuril nods to Unaka.

Valynn grins.

Leilanie smiles at Unaka.

(Saragos lifts his hand and finds it shaking, then quickly steadies it by clasping it behind his back.)

Maintain ponders.
