Can someone check and see if this allows you to see metal ratios in an item? We're unable to determine if its the tech itself or skill based+tech based or just skill based. --Ysselt 21:29, 13 July 2011 (UTC)

this is indeed a skill check, between appraisal and forging.. second hand from Naohhi, who asked kodius specifically to answer that question. the skill check requires more than 77 appraisal, and more than 32 forging as a reference. value of the item also modifies the difficulty, and those skills won't work on a 5x5x5 mix of bronze, oravir, and covalite. --Homikrin 18:01, 16 February 2013 (UTC)
