Dateline 2/5/2001: LOCKOUT PROCEDURAL CHANGE

We're making an effort to control problems with players bringing in alternate characters to continue disruptions after being removed from the game. Please be aware that lockouts will now extend to all related characters and accounts. If you share billing information with a known problem account, we strongly recommend you update your account information accordingly. If they're locked out and there is a connection via billing, email, mailing addresses or phone numbers, you will be too.

In the past, some players have provided bogus information in order to bypass this constraint. The following is an excerpt from Simutronics' Terms and Conditions of service: "User agrees to provide Simutronics with valid, complete and updated (as applicable) registration information. Failure to do so will constitute a breach of this Agreement, and any subsequent access to Services by User will be considered invalid and unauthorized."

While this will not affect the majority of our player base in any way, please be certain to provide updated account information if you have purchased an account from another player. You are responsible for maintaining correct billing information. Failure to do so may result in sharing penalties with any related accounts. Although we don't expect it to be generally necessary, we are reserving the right to lock an account until we are provided with verifiable account information.
