Xibar.png

Xibar is both the closest and the smallest of the three moons. Unlike the other two, it lacks any sort of atmosphere, which leads some historians to speculate it was burnt off in the same cataclysm that charred Katamba. Xibar is covered by myriad shades of blue, but the silvery-blue glow of its vast and pristine ice fields dominate the moon.

Moon Mages ascribe to Xibar dominance over Psychic Projection magic as well as influence over Moonlight Manipulation and Transduction magic.

Technical details

Orbital period
The interval of time between Xibar rise and Xibar rise alternates between the following times:
  • 11 anlas, 17 roisan (5 hours, 47 minutes)
  • 11 anlas, 18 roisan (5 hours, 48 minutes)
Setting offset
The interval of time between Xibar rise and Xibar set (the time it's visible) fluctuates between the following times:
  • 5 anlas, 24 roisan (2 hours, 54 minutes)
  • 5 anlas, 25 roisan (2 hours, 55 minutes)
Rising offset
The interval of time between Xibar set and Xibar rise (the time it's below the horizon) fluctuates between the following times:
  • 5 anlas, 22 roisan (2 hours 52 minutes)
  • 5 anlas, 23 roisan (2 hours 53 minutes)
Phase period

The most common duration of a single phase out of the eight in a cycle is approximately 1165 roisaen (minutes). This varies due to influence from the other moons. This makes the average interval of time between new moons

  • Approximately 25 and 8/9 days (6 days, 12 hours)
