Description

The sinuous vine's sleek body pulses slowly beneath an armored cloak of razor-sharp leaves that resemble shards of obsidian. It is as thick as a man's arm and nearly thirty hands long. Though eyeless, you feel it looking back at you with ill intent.

In Depth

Area

Fog obscures the obvious exits in each room, and some rooms have muck that you can get stuck in. Athletics skill is used to move through the muck. This hunting ground is beyond Corik's Wall, to get over the wall one must have completed the Corik's Wall quests to obtain the key which is available to rangers and paladins only or have the required climbing skill, near 500 ranks. Fenhalut starts the quest for the Emerald Knights to obtain the key.

Background

This area is part of the Dark Hand, an evil forest that was pushed back away from Shard by Graev and the Emerald Knights during the time of Ferdahl Alec. A collection of Graev's letters can be found in The Emerald Chronicles.
