Copyright Problem

The artist does not require me to do this in order to use her material. It is royalty-free and I have futher edited it before posting here. --hexedbythenet 01:08, 30 September 2012 (UTC)

Since it's royalty-free, you should be able to cite the original source. (Prohibiting images of unknown or unverifiable origin is a common wiki policy.) See Elanthipedia's copyright policy. I'm sorry if this seems like a hassle, but we have had problems with users making up fake copyright attributions to get around Elanthipedia's copyright policy. --Isharon 04:19, 30 September 2012 (UTC)

Okay, I will speak with the artist and see what they wish to do. It's not a hassle at all, just wasn't really expecting it since other images I've posted have been fine. However, this is the only one where I have asked someone to use a pre-existing image. I've normally had them comissioned so that I can avoid things like this by being the owner myself.--hexedbythenet 13:44, 30 September 2012 (UTC)
