Depart Messaging

I haven't heard anything about changes, but it sounds pretty accurate that depart messaging might now be based on god of last favor.
Here is the one that was posted in the forums as well as my last depart. I had 6 favors, all Asketi. Dunno where this should go, or if it pans out as being right, but it's what I've got.--Aristrondr 23:39, 10 December 2010 (UTC)

I always thought certain locations had area-specific depart messaging. Below is what I get near Asketi's Mount (also all Asketi favors). This is from a few weeks ago as well as prior to that, though; I'll update if I notice anything different the next time I die/depart. --Thilan 05:56, 11 December 2010 (UTC)
Location does have some effect. Departed in Basilisks and at the Crossing Temple and got two different messages. Past (really large number) favors were from Eylhaar. I'll try to make it to the Mount and see if I get the same message as Thilan.

Got the Freezing Blast message when I departed at the top of the Mount, didn't receive any part of the Eylhaar message.

Everild

A black, chilling hand reaches toward you but is pushed back by nothing you can discern other than a warm breath.
You shake off the fear and the pain, and find youself alive...and elsewhere.

Asketi

Silvery light surrounds you, an icy light that smears your vision, and a heavy weight presses on your spirit 'til pain bursts like stars in your body and soul. At last, the cold light fades and you begin to feel as though a warm wind bears you upwards, drawing you out of cold and fear.
The wind finally dies down, and you find yourself alive...and elsewhere.

A freezing blast blows across your heart and mind, fraying both in every direction. Just as all starts to go dim, you hear a faint murmur and a soft warmth sweeps the cold away. Slowly, the light returns and as you perceive it, you realize that you are living once more.

Damaris

Light fades and darkness envelops you like a blanket, velvet soft against your skin. A voice whispers in your ear, "No child are you to be under my protection. Be off with you, and come not soon to my attentions." As the voice fades, you feel the prick of a dagger against the back of your neck, a sharp sting warning you against foolishness, and your vision clears to find yourself... --Joehaynus 21:32 CST , 10 December 2010

Eylhaar

A violent chill suddenly wracks your spirit, as if you had suddenly been wrenched into the depths of the most abyssal ocean. You relent to the cold and simply float under the inky ebon waters, allowing the current to do with you what it may.

As you ebb and flow along with the dark tide, you notice masses of swirling silver lights stir up all around you. They seem quite close, yet still far. The nebulous motion of the luminance mimics that of twinkling stars, yet you cannot be quite sure. Before you can ponder it much further, the lights begin to gradually grow brighter, until they roar with the brilliance of a thousand suns. You shut your eyes tightly, trying to shield yourself from the violent display but your flesh awakens with an intense burning sensation, jolted from its frigid slumber!

Suddenly you feel yourself being expelled from the tide, your lungs burning with excruciating pain as you vault into a new body of water. After a moment of floating in the frigid pool, you realize with joy that you are very much alive.

A severe, yet gentle feminine voice whispers, "You have been given another chance, my child. Arise anew within my spirit!"
