this is indeed a skill check, between appraisal and forging.. second hand from Naohhi, who asked kodius specifically to answer that question. the skill check requires more than 77 appraisal, and more than 32 forging as a reference. value of the item also modifies the difficulty, and those skills won't work on a 5x5x5 mix of bronze, oravir, and covalite. --[[User:Homikrin|Homikrin]] 18:01, 16 February 2013 (UTC)
