What does "Scholarship Needed" mean? My warmie can study his racial chart (with great difficulty!) at 40 scholarship. -- Taral 00:19, 8 March 2008 (CST)

it's the lowest amount of scholarship needed to get a successful (FA or Scholarship teaching) study on it. Regardless of whether you can study all the way through.--Symphaena 17:26, 8 March 2008 (CST)
Then 75 is too high for own race chart. Was getting training at 40. Think this might have something to do with being lore secondary vs tertiary? -- Taral 19:18, 8 March 2008 (CST)

Does anyone have information on the caps the charts teach too? I don't seem to be learning too much from my compendium at 225 scholarship. --Tjorlando 17:18, 12 March 2009 (UTC)

With my compendium, at 192 FA, and 322 Scholarship, it still moves. I am not moving as swiftly as it was ~50 scholarship ago, but it will still get things rolling nicely.
Charts - Eloth, Elf, Gidii, Gnome, Tog, Halfling, Kaldar, Lanky Grey Lach, Prydaen, S'Kra.
Lach - still 60 sec RTs, Gidii ~56sec RT, all else can usually memorize once or twice through. Hithrael 17:23, 21 May 2009 (UTC)

Other races

Just verified 45 for other races, went from impossible to difficult time.

minimum requirements

With 16 ranks in scholarship, my commoner is having issues studying the silver leucro, i did get one 'read' from it, but that's one out of about 20 so far; and it was only the: "You begin to study the Silver Leucro chart, having a difficult time comprehending the advanced text." response. just in the event it matters, i have 15 intel and 15 wisdom.

I suspect that it is an average of ranks between scholarship and first aid, not solely scholarship. Tea 21:12, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
I had a character with 70 scholarship and about 20 first aid, and was able to read all the race charts. --Zamara 22:00, 9 January 2010 (UTC)

New scholarship numbers

Have these changed? Last I knew you could read these FAR earlier than the page seems to imply now. -Tea 05:05, 17 July 2011 (UTC)

Timer verifications

Just verified that the time between "clarity" to being able to study the same chart again is exactly 1200 seconds (20 minutes). --Kittenish 03:12, 2 December 2011 (UTC)
