Description: The cycle of life is sacred to Kuniyo in a way Rangers can best resonate with. With every whistling arrow and with every hunt, we pay homage to the forest god. An archer with the power of Syamelyo Kuniyo will be able to line up that perfect first shot much more swiftly and strike with the cold fury of nature.

This is a battle spell, intended to be prepared quickly and cast on a single target while in battle. It can be cast without a target.

Effect: Makes the first aim on every enemy faster, converts that shot's damage type to purely cold, additional damage boost.
Example Messaging: cast:
The left side of the world becomes hazed in gauzy green shadows briefly, and you find yourself drifting to the verge of reveries paradisiac and exhilarating.

drop:
Your green-shadowed reveries grow distant.

You turn to face a mutant togball.
In one frozen moment, your thoughts shift to a dreamlike tableau: a dugong and a sea otter foraging together in shallow waters off the shores of a pristine tree-covered island. You deftly draw your battle longbow's string and begin to aim at a mutant togball.

Notes

  • Guild Leader Paglar in Boar Clan teaches this spell.
  • Affects both arrows when paired with dual loading.
  • There is a five minute cooldown before it can be used against the same target. The cooldown will reset when a player target leaves the room before the Ranger does. There is now messaging when a target-specific cooldown expires.
  • SK's elemental damage will not apply if the arrow already has elemental damage of any kind, or if the target creature is immune to the elemental damage type SK is trying to apply. (If the target is immune to cold damage, it will not change to cold.)
  • Damage type can be modified by the metaspell Electrogenesis, converting it from cold to electric.
