A dark blue stone carefully cut so light is trapped within to reveal a rosy pink center. The Summer's Heart sapphire has only ever been located in tropical environments, thus it is named for the sunny, fresh atmosphere in which it's mined.

This material must be provided for alterations. The main stipulation for their use in items is that they are always faceted, never cabochon.[1]
