Starlear Lightsheer is an Elven Warrior Mage currently a resident of Shard and Citizen of Ilithi.

He was born on the 22nd day of the 2nd month of Ka'len the Sea Drake in the year of the Crystal Snow Hare, 328 years after the victory of Lanival the Redeemer.

He was married to Larilliana Lychis in the 4th month of Shorka the Cobra in the year of the Crystal Snow Hare, 391.

Appearance
He has an angular face with elegant arched eyebrows, pointed ears, almond-shaped sapphire eyes and dimples. His blonde hair is shoulder length and wavy, and is worn in a simple, loose style. He has pale skin and a lithe build.
He is a bit over average height for an Elf.
He appears to be an adult.

Notable For:

- Liking to shop and find the perfect outfit. He is often frustrated at the lack of designers for male clothing, and the lack of taste of those around him.
- Being fiercely loyal to the friends he has, and slow to make new ones.
- Seeming more polite than he actually is.
- Not enjoying hunting alone.
- Being devoted to Eylhaar, refusing to get favors from any other aspects or Immortals.
- Not judging anyone based on anything other than how they treat him.
- Using sarcasm and jokes to deflect things that he wishes to avoid speaking about or wishes to appear ignorant to.
- Loves his wife. Considers the idea of finding someone else, despite her absence, to be offensive.

Alignment

If Starlear had a strict RPG-Style alignment assigned to him, it would fluctuate between true neutral and chaotic good.

Familiar

Starlear's familiar is an immense blue-eyed grey leopard.

>look leopard
The leopard's spots are a mixture of deep blues and greys that are barely offset from the base coat, giving the leopard a similar hue and texture to roiling smoke. Significantly larger than average, it stands about chest-high on a human at its shoulders. It licks a paw briefly, grooming itself, and you catch a glimpse of silvery claws, each at least as long as a human's finger. Turning to look at you for a moment, the bright color of its eyes lend the gaze an unsettling, piercing quality.
You find the creature to be a magnificent specimen. There is a soft aura about it and you notice the eyes stare back with a nature which hints at intelligence. Your experience as a Warrior Mage tells you this is a familiar.

History

Starlear is the son of a River Elf Trader who found himself running a caravan to Ilithi due to owing a favor to a sick friend. His father was a jolly, loving, silly man who played the violin and built toy boats for him when he was a child. Starlear's mother was a hardened bandit woman who happened upon his father's caravan after it had been attacked by snowbeasts near the Dragon's Spine mountains.

The man saw this woman and hallucinated that she was Eylhaar, coming to take him away, and he openly spoke of her beauty in his injured delerium. She was flattered and caught off guard.
Rather than rob the man of his nearly destroyed goods, she took him in and cared for him at her home in the mountains, tending to his wounds and bringing him food and drink. She disappeared for days at a time, and never spoke of why until years later. They eventually fell in love, and she stopped leaving and chose to stay with him there. Starlear grew up there, near Shard.

Both of his parents are presently deceased for reasons he knows but does not like to talk about.

Starlear identifies as a River Elf if asked about his heritage, but curiously states only that his father was a River Elf.

He wandered the lands for many years after that, joining the Warrior Mage guild and living both in Zoluren, where for a time he served Prince Vorclaf and in Therengia. He was never registered as a citizen of anywhere specific, until recently when Shard and its people made an impression on him and made him want to stay.

Notes

I am always interested in roleplaying, but my character tends to be relatively quiet so this is not always apparent. He is polite and will hold a conversation, but often does not start them himself.

Sell me your nice man-clothes.
