Rope

A rope can be used to:
CLIMBING ropes assist in climbing survival skillcheck barriers such as walls or cliffs.
LEAD ropes can be used to get a horse to follow you without riding it.
BUNDLING ropes can be used to carry skinned creature parts.

Climbing ropes, bundling ropes and lead ropes may be created using FORAGEd vines or grass and the BRAID command via the engineering skill.

Mundane Climbing Ropes

The mundane climbing rope does not have any magical properties, however it will assist in CLIMBing various obstacles, such as cliffs, trees, ledges, etc., that may be slightly too difficult for a character. These ropes will also assist with the Breaking and Entering system. A few of the ropes also have verbs for fun, STUDY your rope to identify those verbs.

Magical "Dancing" Ropes

A dancing rope is a type of rare item that allows the holder to train the Athletics skill anywhere. It is unknown if this type of rope will also assist in the climbing of obstacles the way a mundane climbing rope will.

Bundling Ropes

Used to BUNDLE skins and hides into a single group. Once bundled, the bundle can be TIEd off to consolidate into a single count item. At this point, individual skins and hides can no longer be taken out.
