History

Rairken was born on the 18th day of the 7th month of Moliko the Balance in the year of the Emerald Dolphin, 383 years after the victory of Lanival the Redeemer.

Etched into the perforated faceguard is the Riverhaven Healer's Hall crest -- a golden sun shining down upon an open hand reaching out to provide comfort, the palm cradling a leaping fish arched over a royal blue river.

Shaped like the silhouette of the Gemfire Mountains, each pauldron has a scene etched on its surface. On the left, an Empath bearing a tower shield faces off against a horde of rampaging orcs who stand between him and a fallen fighter. A golden sun is half-obscured behind the peaks. On the right, the orcs have all fallen and the Empath and fighter stand together gazing at the dead foes. Their profiles are backlit by the light of the sun that has slid to a quarter above the peaks behind them.

• a haralun champion's longsword with an Ilithian cedar hilt.

The double-edged blade is acid-etched along the fuller with parading horses in full tack and gear. A high-relief map of Elanthia encompassed by laurel vines adorns the crossguard, overlaid by twin crossed lances and encircled by a detailed inscription. On either side of the pommel are contrasting crests one from the Crystal Vanguard and the other from the Order of the Apostles.
