If it had been intended as a training tool, I would have made it give enough experience to actually be a training tool. Right now it's just a token award, and that's probably not going to change. Yes, making people have to search out the information would be very cool, but that would also require a fairly large amount of extra work, as well as a way to track what people know, which we don't have at the moment. This is why most recalls are guild-only -- the assumption is that the Cleric Guild teaches clerics about the Immortals, for example. It's kind of hard to believe they wouldn't. - GM Dartenian | |
