|p=Neutral chain will not exist in the {{PRel|Armorsmithing|new forging system}} or the {{PRel|Skills 3.0|new skill system}}. Neutral plate will not exist in the new forging system...and is tricky with the new skill system. Forging 3.0 will have specific brigandine and specific plate templates.

For old items we may just leave it so they teach {{PRel|Brigandine skill|brigandine}} if your brigandine skill is higher, and plate if your {{PRel|Plate Armor skill}} is higher so as to not disrupt people too much. I do not intend to add a new level of appraisal as they'll technically be phasing out. However, this isn't a final decision.
