Hi everyone! As a notification, a few items went out that were incorrectly given as having "demonhide". As the correct material is "demonscale". The items should automatically update on login, but if you have an item that has been altered to have "demonhide", please assist if you want this corrected.

Note that demonscale and demonbone are pretty popular materials, and we're glad to see people enjoying them! There have been a few alteration scrolls requesting "demonhide", so do not be surprised when these are returned as "demonscale".

Also note that demonscale is an iconic midnight-blue, being as that it comes from a specific Maelshyvaen creature. As a general principle, demonscale should not be dyed, as doing so removes one of its more iconic features and renders it somewhat indistinguishable from any other scaled hide (from a terrifyingly large and dangerous creature).
