Niello

In the real world, it is a brittle black metallic alloy of sulfur, copper, silver and lead, niello is extremely soft and pours easily when melted. This metal is typically used to add embellishments, or to make embossments and engravings stand out.

It's properties in DragonRealms are unknown, but this material must be provided for alterations.

For crafting properties of this metal, see Crafting Materials. It currently has no uses, and it is conjectured that it will be of use with Alchemy or Enchanting.
