thick oak standard bearing a flowing black silk banner embroidered with the Paladin's Guild crest
Look: Set upon a field of dark ebony, the silken banner bears the image of a scale weighing an olive laurel and a sword, surrounded by a flowing script that twines in an endless circle. A small leather strap is fastened to the oaken shaft allowing the bearer to carry it into battle.

There appears to be something written on it.

A thick oak standard reads: "Truth, Honor and Justice"

>unroll my standard
Holding the staff carefully, you unwrap the standard and allow it to slip free by waving the staff in small circles.

>wave standard
As you sweep the flowing standard in a wide arc over your head, a surge of inspiration fills you and your voice rings out with a cry to muster.

>lean my standard
You place the end of the staff that holds your standard securely on the ground, holding it at arm's length while you stand at attention. Your face flushes with pride as your standard is displayed for all to see.

>poke standard
You shake the staff in order to free any kinks or snarls from the standard's heavy folds.

>roll standard
With practiced ease you roll up your standard, taking care not to snag the fabric.
