Look:	The pale fabric forming the garment is almost totally obscured by exuberant stitching in every shade of blue. The light blue patterns near the top of the cloak are angular and abstract, but toward the middle, an island scene is discernible in bright azure thread. Deepening to a rich royal blue near the bottom of the garment, a pattern of ships and seas emerges from the geometric designs. Along the very base of the cloak an abstract motif of climbing vines and twisted trees is stitched in cobalt silk.
