Look: An unmarked swathe of fine Musparan silk, the "veil of pride" is a floor-length tail drape traditionally worn by S'Kra Mur brides. Affixed to the brushed fabric, lacquered ironwood disks link to form the wide belt which fastens this floor-length tail drape about the wearer's waist. Each polished circle is subtly inlaid with complex and fanciful arabesque patterns, the lighter material barely contrasting against the rich hues of the darker wood.
