Syntax

• THINK MESSAGE
• There is a window of about ten seconds after tapping in which to transmit your message. If you are too slow (and if you are also wearing a gweth), your message will be sent to the gweth channel.

• Group thoughts appear as Your mind hears Name thinking, "{group}" "Message"
• FOCUS on the ring to try to recharge it.

Tuning

In order to change the color of an albredine ring to a different one, it must be cleared and retuned.

1. TAP MY ALBREDINE RING while holding a metal weapon.
2. Holding both the colored ring and the colorless ring, TAP ALBREDINE RING to make the colorless ring take on the color of the colored ring.

If you tap two colored rings together, they will probably melt.

Using

• Functions like a personal gweth network, since the thoughts will go out only to those wearing a ring of the same color.
• These rings also burn out, turning to a brown color. You'll have to get a new one at that point.

• Color varies by individual. Your personal color will be shown when wearing a colorless albredine ring for the first time.
• Each ring has a limited number of taps, approximately 100, but they can be recharged by a magic user with over 100 Arcana skill.

• The Zone Map is a tool that can help determine albredine ring ranges. Typically the range will extend to a distance of 3 zones.

How to Fix Bugs

Albredine rings have some annoying quirks that can be frustrating. Here is how to handle them.

Colorless Ring Won't Change Colors When Tapped

If your colorless ring doesn't change colors when you tap it against a colored ring, use the following procedure:

1. WEAR the colorless ring. (This will cause the ring to take on your personal color.)
2. REMOVE the colorless ring.
3. While holding a metal weapon, TAP the albredine ring that you just removed to make it colorless once again.
4. Hold both the colored ring and the colorless ring.
5. TAP ALBREDINE RING to make the colorless ring take on the color of the colored ring.

Ring Doesn't Fit

If you get the message "You try to slip it on but it just doesn't fit right," when you try to wear your ring, hold a metal weapon in one hand and then WEAR MY ALBREDINE RING.
