Giant Nightmare Black Gidii

The nightmare black gidii is a giant example of the flightless birds common in Elanthia, but instead of the usual dull grey feathers it is covered in feathers in many hues of nightmare black. Although it is as stupid as its relatives, it is marginally cleaner and better smelling.

• A fly buzzes around a giant nightmare black gidii before finally settling down on the gidii's head, right between the eyes. The nightmare black gidii's eyes cross as it attempts to locate the source of the annoyance, but finally manages to focus on the insect. Shaking its head wildly, it manages to dislodge the fly, but collapses in a heap right afterwards.
