Syntax
- RUB RING: To activate.
- THINK TO <PERSON> <MESSAGE>: You hear your mental voice echo to <Person>, "<message>"
Shortcuts/Aliases
It's a good idea to have distinct commands to prevent accidental (and embarrassing) broadcasts to the gwethnet that you intended for a single recipient. There are a number of ways to do this depending on which client you use.
- Both Wizard and Stormfront allow you to use <person>: <message> instead of THINK TO. In order to use it, you must enable it by going to Options -> Advanced Options and checking the box next to Think to Shortcut.
- In Genie you will need to set up an alias. In your aliases.cfg file, add the line
#alias {tt} {think to $0}-- this will enable you to use acr <person> <message> as a shortcut when sending thoughts to others.
- Isharon has a set of aliases and macros that will type both the syntax and the person's name for you.
Uses
- When activated, this ring can project thoughts to anyone wearing another such ring. As of 34 Dolefaren 415 (4/7/2015), the range is global.
- The range of these rings have been updated to be unlimited.
