House of the Rowan Branch (location)

The House building can be found along the Garden Crescent area near the interior south gate of Shard. The building contains space open to the public and for House-members only. Within the building are a number of refreshments.

Tanned from dark leather, a large mat lines the center of the floor, following the shape of the walls. In the corner is a small square table, a tall glass pitcher of ice water set upon it. A single paper lantern hangs from the ceiling, illuminating the way. Clean walls of rice paper line beams of rowan, the hallway ending at a paper screen.

House Areas Open to House Members Only
[House of the Rowan Branch, Hall of Silence]
Prayer mats of braided grass are spread out on the floor in front of a simple altar, meant to be used for quiet reflection. Nearby, a single low table is set out with some tea and seaweed-wrapped sainyuso rolls, inviting worshippers to partake. A small, perfectly trimmed tree stands in the northwest corner of the room, set into a rectangular pot. You also see a paper screen.
