The Great Migration is the name of the mass exodus of Prydaen, Rakash and other races from the unknown western portions of Kermoria to the well known eastern portions. The ending event is considered to be the raising of the Great Barrier.
Contrary to common belief, the Great Migration took place over at least one generation, as well as involving members of the races common to the eastern lands.
