Shadow Masters are a type of Demon. A devourer, once summoned by a moon mage, may become a shadow master if it consumes enough sustenance. Shadow Masters are also occasionally summoned independently by NPCs or during invasions. In addition to being very capable melee combatants, Shadow Masters have been known to split into two equally powerful halves when struck with an edged weapon.
