List of critters divided into tiers. Some critters are more or less difficult, but basically speaking, if you're in the middle of the rank bracket, you can probably hunt most things in Tiers 2 - 4 with some chance of survival.

Note that there are no Tier 1 creatures in Forfedhdar, meaning adventurers will need to seek adequate training elsewhere before coming to Forfedhdar. Also the Trolls, Ogres, and Gryphons provide opportunities for skinning and locksmithing.

Tier 2: (~50-150+ ranks)

Tier 3: (~100-200 ranks)

  • Giant Blight Bat -- Note: Undead magic resistance, need pole or ranged weapon to hit. Spawn along Pilgrimage Trail at night.
  • Frostweyr Bear -- Note: Roar attack, can knock out of room with paw-swipe.
  • Retch Fiend -- Note: Maggot attack does a good deal of damage.
  • Vela'tohr Bloodvine -- Note: Very swarmy, ranged thorn/poison attack.
  • Writhing Maiden's Tress -- Note: Higher learning cap than bloodvines, but less swarmy.
  • Lithe Blight Ogre -- Note: Use longbows. Lithe, Stumpy, and Giant Blight Ogres are (supposed to be) in the same area.
  • Stumpy Blight Ogre -- Note: Not seen in a while. Lithe, Stumpy, and Giant Blight Ogres are (supposed to be) in the same area.

Tier 4: (~200-300+ ranks)

Tier 5+: (~325+ ranks) (Information at this point gets sketchy)
