Armure

A heavy fabric woven with a small interlaced chainmail-like design. Though the material is currently a very light grey, the threads look like they would hold any color of dye.

Bloodlace

This lace has a silvery sheen that remains no matter what color it's dyed, and is delicate to the touch. It gets its name from its curing technique, which involves soaking it in blood to improve its texture.
LOOK: Spun from silken fibers, the thread has an almost translucent quality with a silvery sheen that remains no matter what color it's dyed. When tatted, the medium weight lace is exceptionally soft and appears delicate but tugging shows it's very durable.

Bluefire Velvet

This is a weaving technique where very fine blue and silver metallic threads are used in the fabric's warp to cause blue lightning to run across its surface when the light hits it.
LOOK: This exquisite and luxurious medium weight cloth is a silken weave with metallic threads in shades of bright blue and silver used sparingly in the warp. When the light hits the fabric just right, the metal's reflection causes an illusion resembling Huldah's flaming, blue lightning crackling across its surface.

Dragonfire Brocade

Look: This exquisite cloth is woven from soft, lustrous thread, the layers of fluffy fibers creating a heavy weight textile that rivals the fine silk. During the weaving process, yellow and red gold metallic threads are added to the warp to create a low-relief pattern of leaping flames that are highlighted when hit by any light.

Duchess Satin

Shiny, heavy and luxurious. It is known for its smooth texture and elegant low-gloss sheen. It has a very high thread count that makes it stiffer, fuller, heavier and less likely to wrinkle then an ordinary silk.
LOOK: This exquisite and lustrous cloth is woven from silk, the layers of delicate fibers creating a fabric that has a smooth texture and elegant low-gloss sheen. Known for its luxuriously soft texture, the material has a very high thread count, which makes it stiffer, fuller, heavier and less likely to wrinkle than similar textiles.

Elothean silk

Extremely fine and light, and is made from special Elothean-bred silkworms that only eat lotus leaves (or blossoms?) that only a few Elothean artisans know the full process for creating.

Elven silk

According to one GM working on alteration scrolls, Elven silk is "not sheer, kind of heavy."

Elven Snowlace

Snowlace gets its name from the fiber used to make the lace, which is spun from the hair of snowbeasts, a technique created by the Mountain Elves. The thread is very fine and difficult to work with but creates a lace that is durable despite its extremely delicate appearance.

Elven Wool

The soft, finely textured wool is both lightweight and strong.

Fae woven silk

A diaphanous spidersilk handwoven by the Fae themselves. Note: also called Fae-spun silk and Fae-woven silk.
This material must be provided for alterations.

Firesilk

A fabric containing red silk threads that cause the fabric to shimmer with red fire as the light catches it.
Does not have to be provided for alterations, but the LOOK of the item must contain "a soft, clingy fabric" and "with vibrant scarlet threads in the warp, giving the material a fiery shimmer as it moves".

Goldweave

A heavy, lustrous fabric made up of real gold spun together with a golden-hued thread for support. These threads are woven together with a very fine white linen, resulting in a vague mirror effect.

Khiynit

A type of gossamer silk that is harvested from the sand spiders of the Velaka, with great difficulty, by weavers within that region. The spiders are fed on a diet of yeehar blood laced with fiber from the iroepi root and hhyssk'et berry. The silk has a rough texture, and only comes in desert hues. Very strong and malleable.
Introduced by Hhtuassa, and is currently the only merchant working with it. She only works for S'Kra Murs.

Lava Samite

A weave technique, yellow and red gold metal threads used in the warp to give it the appearance of streams of molten lava.
LOOK: This exquisite and luxurious medium weight cloth is a silk weave with metallic threads in various shades of yellow and red gold used in the warp. When light hits the fabric just right, the precious metal's reflection causes an illusion of molten lava streams burning their way across the material's surface.

Marblesilk

Marblesilk is a product of a specific Prydaen family that is made as a solid piece. It is created as one solid piece, and any attempt to cut it into smaller pieces (such as for alterations) will cause it to completely unravel.[1]

Moonsilk

A very pale blue silk with an opalescent sheen, stone-washed to give it a heavy texture and a slight nap.

Musparan silk

Silk crafted in Muspar'i, said to be the best quality silk that can be obtained.

Nightsilk

A unique form of spidersilk, harvested specifically from the black spiders that live within the mists of the Forest of Night. Identical to spidersilk, but is supposedly easier to dye black.

Nightreaver/Nightweaver/Nightstalker silk

Thick, strong silks with a very high luster. Comes from the corresponding types of unyns.
This material, or spinnerets must be provided for alterations.

Oceanmist Satin

Created from sheets of kelp slowly cured in a special manner. Is glossy and exceptionally soft to the touch.
LOOK: This exquisite and lustrous cloth is woven from silken thread, the layers of fluffy fibers creating a medium weight textile that has a smooth texture and misty, high-gloss sheen. Exceptionally soft to the touch, this material fluidly drapes the body when used to create a garment.

Shadesatin

Shadesatin is a type of satin that has a very high thread count and is difficult to make because it's spun from very fine threads of silver to make a high gloss sheen. It holds color well and is called shadesatin because it tends to create shadows in the fabric depending on the light in the area.
LOOK: This exquisite and lustrous cloth is woven from silk, the layers of delicate fibers creating a medium weight fabric that has a smooth finish and sumptuous high-gloss sheen. Dramatic shadows dance across the material's surface, their size and shape dependant on the amount and type of light in the area.

Shadowsilk

A specially processed, magical form of silk that absorbs light rather than reflecting it.

Silverweave

A heavy, lustrous fabric made up of silver threads spun together with white linen thread for extra support. These strands are woven together with a pitch-black thread, resulting in a shimmering, somewhat starry effect.

Snowflake tulle

Look: This exquisite and luxurious netted cloth is a very fine, silk weave with spun platinum threads added in a snowflake pattern to the weft. When light hits the fabric, the metal's reflection creates the appearance of snowflakes dancing through the sky as they fall towards the ground during a winter's storm.

Spidersilk

Silk harvested from spiders, particularly the larger ones, and processed using secret techniques invented by Demosel. Creates an incredibly strong but lightweight material.

Starlight Velvet

Starlight Velvet is a medium weight cloth that consists of silk threads with miniscule diamond chips worked into the strands during the weaving process. When the light hits the fabric just right, the gem's reflection causes an illusion resembling glittering stars on a moonlit night across the material's surface.

Stormsilk

A fabric containing spun platinum and tarnished silver warp threads ranging in color from black to grey to silver that give it a stormy look, making the fabric appear to crackle with electricity when the light catches it.

Sunkissed chiffon

Look: This exquisite and luxurious lightweight cloth is a sheer silk weave with filaments of copper, yellow and rose gold strategically used in the warp and weft to create uneven bands of shimmering gold across the surface of the finished material. When light hits the fabric, the metal's reflection creates an illusion resembling the golden rays of the morning sun as they break over the horizon.

Windstorm gossamer

Look:This exquisite and luxurious lightweight cloth is a sheer silk weave with white gold and tarnished silver metallic threads strategically used in the warp and weft to give the cloth a stormy appearance. When light hits the fabric, the metal's reflection creates a faint optical illusion of storm clouds whirling to form tornadoes that travel across the fabric's surface.


Zibeline

A very thick wool with a texture that resembles fur, ideal for creating coats or cloaks. The material is soft and has a slight sheen to it.
