Needs descriptions of Elven and Fae woven silk
Bloodlace
:This lace has a silvery sheen that remains no matter what color it's dyed, and is delicate to the touch. It gets its name from its curing technique, which involves soaking it in blood to improve its texture.
:Must be provided for alterations

Bluefire Velvet
:This is a weaving technique where very fine blue and silver metallic threads are used in the fabric's warp to cause blue lightning to run across its surface when the light hits it.
:Must be provided for alterations

Duchess Satin
:Shiny, heavy and luxurious. It is known for its smooth texture and elegant low-gloss sheen. It has a very high thread count that makes it stiffer, fuller, heavier and less likely to wrinkle then an ordinary silk.
:Must be provided for alterations

Elothean silk
:Extremely fine and light, and is made from special Elothean-bred silkworms that only eat lotus leaves (or blossoms?) that only a few Elothean artisans know the full process for creating.

Elven silk
:Quote Abasha: "Elves make it."
:According to one GM working on alteration scrolls, Elven silk is "not sheer, kind of heavy."
: This material must be provided for alterations.

Elven Snowlace
:Snowlace gets its name from the fiber used to make the lace, which is spun from the hair of snowbeasts, a technique created by the Mountain Elves. The thread is very fine and difficult to work with but creates a lace that is durable despite its extremely delicate appearance.
:Must be provided for alterations

Fae woven silk
:A diaphanous spidersilk handwoven by the Fae themselves. Note: also called Fae-spun silk and Fae-woven silk.
: This material must be provided for alterations.

Firesilk
:A fabric containing red silk threads that cause the fabric to shimmer with red fire as the light catches it.
: This material must be provided for alterations.

Icesilk
: See icesilk.

Khiynit
:A type of gossamer silk that is harvested from the sand spiders of the Velaka, with great difficulty, by weavers within that region. The spiders are fed on a diet of yeehar blood laced with fiber from the iroepi root and hhyssk'et berry. The silk has a rough texture, and only comes in desert hues. Very strong and malleable.
:Introduced by Hhtuassa, and is currently the only merchant working with it. She only works for S'Kra Murs.

Lava Samite
:A weave technique, yellow and red gold metal threads used in the warp to give it the appearance of streams of molten lava.
:Must be provided for alterations

Marblesilk
:Marblesilk is a product of a specific Prydaen family that is made as a solid piece. It is created as one solid piece, and any attempt to cut it into smaller pieces (such as for alterations) will cause it to completely unravel.
: This material must be provided for alterations.

Moonsilk
:A very pale blue silk with an opalescent sheen, stone-washed to give it a heavy texture and a slight nap.
: This material must be provided for alterations.

Musparan silk
:Silk crafted in Muspar'i, said to be the best quality silk that can be obtained.

Nightsilk
:A unique form of spidersilk, harvested specifically from the black spiders that live within the mists of the Forest of Night. Identical to spidersilk, but is supposedly easier to dye black.
: This material must be provided for alterations.

:Thick, strong silks with a very high luster. Comes from the corresponding types of unyns.
: This material, or spinnerets must be provided for alterations.

:Created from sheets of kelp slowly cured in a special manner. Is glossy and exceptionally soft to the touch.
:Must be provided for alterations

Shadesatin
:Shadesatin is a type of satin that has a very high thread count and is difficult to make because it's spun from very fine threads of silver to make a high gloss sheen. It holds color well and is called shadesatin because it tends to create shadows in the fabric depending on the light in the area.

Shadowsilk
:A specially processed, magical form of silk that absorbs light rather than reflecting it.
: This material must be provided for alterations.

Spidersilk
:Silk harvested from spiders, particularly the larger ones, and processed using secret techniques invented by Demosel. Creates an incredibly strong but lightweight material.

Starlight Velvet
:Starlight Velvet is a medium weight cloth that consists of silk threads with miniscule diamond chips worked into the strands during the weaving process. When the light hits the fabric just right, the gem's reflection causes an illusion resembling glittering stars on a moonlit night across the material's surface.

Steelsilk
:A strong silk with strands of steel in the weave used for the reinforcement of seams and containers.

Watersilk
:A supple fabric-like material that drapes and shimmers beautifully, holding the lustre of silk and movement of water.
