|look=Short blade-like crystals spread outward from the gem in an acicular pattern, reminiscent of a chrysanthemum. Catching the light, the semi-translucent amaranth-colored gem appears both delicate and yet somewhat hard, as if it might be difficult to break it.
Typically arranged in an acicular pattern, the gems are most commonly found in shades of red, blues, and purples. However, the gems have been known to take on the color of the nearest blooming flowers. This gem bares a resemblance in both name and appearance to the [[Eu's Promise flower]].
