Empathy is the special skill of the Empath guild. No other guild may learn or use the Empathy skill.
History
Originally, the skill was known as Transference, but as Empath's abilities were expanded beyond mere healing, it was renamed to encompass the wider scope.
Ways to Train Empathy
- Empath Healing -- Taking wounds, poisons, diseases, and vitality from other characters is the most basic way to learn empathy and how most Empaths learn the bulk of their ranks early in their career. You will not learn any Empathy skill when you take wounds from another Empath.
