Empathy skill

General

Empathy is an empath guild specific skill. It is a requirement for circling. No other guild can learn this skill.

Trained by healing at first, but once you can perceive the health of a room, that becomes the most effective way to train.

Working to take the wounds rapidly allows for increased training. If you take the wounds one at a time it tends to not teach as well. However, if you take to many it breaks the connection and you have to wait till your fatigue has increased before you can effectively take more wounds.

Training

• Taking wounds, poisons, diseases from other (non-empath) characters is the best way to learn empathy.
• PERCieving HEAlth once in a while will teach a little. *Warning* - Be able to heal internal wounds and scars before you start doing this. If there are too many people in the room when you do this you can be stunned. This stun will give you internal head and skin wounds.
• STUDYing anatomy charts.
• Being taught by another empath. You must first request the link (LINK [empath name] EMPATHY) from an empath that knows more than you. Then that empath must link with you (LINK [empath name) and the they can TEACH EMPATHY to you.
